Bliss Event Series was founded in 2024 by Rencie Kolours and Peter Prince, two visionaries with a passion for music, culture, and creating unforgettable experiences. What began as a dream to bring together the vibrant rhythms of the Caribbean, Afro, and Latin cultures has now evolved into one of Tampa Bay’s most anticipated biannual events. The concept of Bliss was born out of a desire to offer something extraordinary to Tampa Bay—a region rich in diversity yet longing for an event that truly celebrates its cultural tapestry. With decades of experience in event production, Rencie and Peter joined forces to launch Bliss as a platform that bridges communities, showcasing the richness of Caribbean, Afrobeat, Dancehall, Reggae, R&B, Kompa, and more. Our first event in April 2024 was a resounding success, attracting over 400 attendees and setting the stage for what Bliss would become: a celebration of life, music, and culture.
Bliss is more than just an event; it’s a movement. We wanted to create a space where people could leave behind the stresses of everyday life and immerse themselves in the joy of music, delicious cuisine, and meaningful connections. Tampa Bay was the perfect home for Bliss—a city that embraces creativity and thrives on its cultural diversity. With Bliss, we aim to elevate the event scene in Tampa by delivering a premium experience that resonates with locals and visitors alike.
As we look ahead, our mission is to grow Bliss into a signature event that represents Tampa Bay on a global stage. We’re committed to continuing the tradition of curating top-tier entertainment, featuring world-class artists and DJs, while also shining a spotlight on local talent.
